It's a thing of beauty

Next year should be great...Yes, I found out today...just before David and I spent about 60 dollars of my meal card...that I got a room in Louisville Hall for next year. I know what you're thinking..ooo, it's named after the city, big deal. Well, yes, it is a big deal. It is the most desireable and probably nicest upper classmen dorm at UofL. I mean, just check out this list of features:

Elevators; Air Conditioned Rooms; Semi-Private Baths; Laundry Facilities on Each Floor; Cooking Areas on Each Floor; Study Area on Each Floor; Multi Purpose Room; Basic Cable TV provided in each room; 24 Hour Desk Coverage; Key Card Access; Local Phone Service Provided in Each Suite; Ice Machine; Ethernet connections in each room; E-mail terminal in lobby

Computer Service Center with - Computers- Laser Printer - Scanner- Copier - Fax

Yes, I know you'll all want to come visit me, so I'll be starting a sign-up sheet sometime this summer which will allow you all to sign up for weekend visitation times. I guess you're also probably wondering why getting in is such a hard thing anyway. Well basically UofL doesn't have enough dorms for all the students who want to come on campus, so you have to go put your name in the "lottery" then they draw you name and give you a number, then based on your number you get assigned a room, so I got the best, when i could actually have not gotten anything at all. Like they could have actually said to me today, "We're sorry Mr. Fyhr, but you're on the waiting list" what is that anyway, do they expect me to live in a Motel 6 or something? They're trying to encourage students to live on campus but they don't have any place to put them...maybe they should have thought this through a little more...

Sorry for the delay people. I've been a bit busy, but i have returned with a little bit of news and an update to the semi popular work journal. I might keep on writing those if I get enough positive feedback (yes that means you). Heck I'll keep writing them even if I don't get any feedback (likley). Life is good. The NOTD.NET shirts are nearly complete. I need a little graphic on the front to cap them off. I will work some stuff up in photoshop and see what i can do. This weekend I could be attending an AbdoMen concert, i'm waiting on the final word from kenny. It should be a fun event. In a related story, Microsoft has officaly killed "Clippy the helpful paperclip" You know, that little paperclip in Microsoft Office. It is stated that there will be no "Clippy" in Office XP. Well here it is, another Monday...the first of three more on which I have class. I can't believe my first year of college is only two weeks and two days from coming to an end, It's gone so fast. I went home for easter to be with the fam and all that good stuff. I think I spend more time with friends though, it's ok though. On Friday night I watched Kings of Comedy with Cael, Matt, and Smiley...it was rather funny. Smiley and I also made the very first NOTD.net T-shirt that night, we bought all this fancy stuff to make them with...like super high quality shirts and Iron-on things...like it's really hard to tell it's not screen printed..i'm wearing mine right now, and i can't tell. In fact 9 out of 10 people agree..even though only two people currently have shirts. Anyway, there is like this four page instruction booklet that tells you how to properly iron on the sheet. Well the most important thing it seems is that you have to apply fifty pounds of pressure to the iron the whole time, they even instruct you to get a bathroom scale out and press down on it with one arm to get a feel for the ammount of pressure required...well Smiley was set to iron the first one...one minute on the preimeter, one minute on the center, and one more minute on the perimeter, all set...ready go...time's up, and it's not stuck...we couldn't figure out why...I told him to go over it again and press a little harder..."Oh yeah" he says, I forgot about that. After all the reading and testing on the scale, he forgot he was supposed to press, and basically just ironed a piece of paper on a shirt...no sticking action at all. Well it finally worked...but since he had been tring to separate the paper before it was really stuck it had tears on the edges...but it wasn't a good shirt, we wanted to do a test first so he just used the undershirt he was wearing, so Jerome dont' worry , that's not the prototype..there was a second prototype. A good one. Well we finally got all of that good, and now the Tshirts are in production, if you're interested email one of us for sizes and prices. They're very nice

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Listen, open your eyes. I've got some wonderful news, some humbling news, some amazing news. I'm sure you're all aware of my dedication and respect for whosthemaniam.com and their entire staff. Well Recently, we're talking within the past few hours recently--as far as I can tell--I was recently upgraded. You see, they have several categories of links in place. The lowest, and most risky if you will is entitled "Random, Changing Sites of Varying Interest" NOTD.net prouldy owned a spot in this category for several months. I visited WTMIA.com just minutes ago, and was taken aback when NOTD failed to appear as it had so many times before. I let my eyes slowly drift upward to the next step in the WTMIA linkage system, the category of "Infinite Interest" and there, at the top of the list, I saw it...in all it's glory NEWS OF THE DAY. I was near to fainting I swear to you. Infinite...that's...well, for eternity...forever...never ending...unless of course Jerome feels compelled to remove it at some time in the future...I hope not. But it solidifies NOTD as a front runner in some small circle of the WEB. We have arrivied.

Auctions - buy/sell anything - Tiger Woods, PlayStation 2, coins, digital cameras, Pokemon, autos...

Apparently you can also buy and sell Tiger Woods, I would have thought it was somehow illegal to sell professional golfers on a website, I guess not.

In related news NOTD will be selling Greg Norman and Lee Trevino in the near future, check back often to place your bids.

I went to my second abdomen show last night, and it was awesome...so much better than the first one. There were four people in the audience with video cameras, plus the band themselves had a tape recorder set up in the back of the room. I stayed for the entire show this time, and I'm glad I did. They played from about 9:PM to 1:00 in the AM...some of the stuff I had heard before, but a lot of it I hadn't, so yeah, that was good. Moving on...when I left the show I rememberd that I needed some deodorant...and seeing as how it's been about 90 degrees here the past few days...I'm sure (no pun intended) that if I didn't get any, I wouldnt' be the only one to realize that I needed it. So I felt like driving also, so I headed over towards the St. Matthews area where I knew there was a 24hr. Wallgreens. On the way, I passed these two guys sitting on their tailgate on the side of the road, I passed them, and then looked in my mirror, and looked ahead of me...not seeing any other cars, I decided to turn around. I went back and it turned out they just needed a jump...they had a bad alternator...something I know all too much about... so I jumped them and (hmm...gave them a jump) and was on my way.

Yeah..weekend...wonderful. As you may or may not know, SMiLEY was up here in Lville for the past couple of days, so I was hangin out with him and failed to update the old NOTD...so this will be an update to remember..or not. We went to a big computer show at the Kentucky International Convention Center yesterday, he bought two dreamcast games...and it was so funny, they're copies of dreamcast games...just the fact that it was so illegal and being sold like it was nothing. They guy selling them was impressed that SMiLEY had 300+ NES games emulated for dreamcast and sold him the games at half price. I bought some RAM for my parents which I must deliver to them next weekend. There's also a big car and home audio show up here...that we wanted to go to, but since he was technically here on a school function, I couldn't drive him across town...their hotel was only three blocks from the Kentucky International Convention Center. Heh..I just like saying that...it sounds so important, but really isn't. And for all those of you who chose not to take advante of the links over there <-- and do not vist whosthemaniam.com they recently had a contest for the most evil invention of all time. It is March 20 (I think) Tuesday...time for chem. boring boring chem. But I have to go to class because if I don't I won't pass then I'll live on the streets giving hand jobs for crack; and we don't want that now do we... or do we?

So there you have it, the amazing things that enter the minds of people while they're taking care of business so to speak. Brad sent me this URL, check it out...warning not appropriate for everyone, but I guess you're allowed to see it. One last thing, I'm sure you've all noticed the post by SMiLEY below this one, yes that's correct NOTD... has a new poster. Enjoy.

Well the time has come for me to make a contribution to this here website. I asked kenny if i could do a post and he told me to write it out. So here I am, writing it out. And yes Kenny's car does sound weird. I'm currently trying to get a new radiohead video to download, this one is for Idioteque. Ahh, i'd forgotten how much streamed media sucked. Thanks for reminding me (Rolling Stone). But I must suggest visiting the amazing www.radiohead.com, you'll thank me. Anyway, I'm gonna get back to doing.... um... stuff. Just saying hello to the millions of fans out there reading. Expect more from me later.
