Thursday, June 29th, 2000: 8:52PM CST -------------------- Boredom... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
Well, I'm officially bored, and my pants are dirty--I guess that's what you get working in a factory, they have grease and coolant stains all over them, oh well, I can wash them. OK, still no speakers, I sent an email to the guy today to see what the next course of action should be, they were insured, so there shouldn't be any problem gettin at least my money back, but hopefully, I'll get speakers. I know that's what we would all like to see happen. I'm driving down to Tenessee tomorrow, it's the last night of Summer Camp and I'm going for the closing campfire and to help transport gear back to Russellville. So I probably won't get to post tomorrow since I'll be leaving as soon as possibe after I get home from work. I'm not sure if I'm spending the night down there or not, plans aren't too clear on those arrangements yet, I guess I'll find out when I get down there! I guess not much else is new, I'm ready for the weekend, only one more day of work!! I think we're going bowling saturday night in Bowling Green, I'm not sure yet, but that's the plan. If you wanna go, let me know! Ah, yes, and about the pic, I was looking for a pic about bowling, and I found this really neat looking one that I was going to use, it was nice and professional looking with no people--then I saw this one, and realized that I had to use it!--overall, it's much better to look at.

Wednesday, June 28th, 2000: 9:27PM CST -------------------- Archives: finally... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
It was definitly time to archive some news, this page was gettin pretty long, I'm sure you'll agree.Well, let's see...not too much happened today, it was a normal day at work, and I came home and not much was new here either. I'm still waiting for the speakers I ordered off ebay, hopefully they'll be here any day now--hopefully. Hmmm...not much else for now I guess.

Tuesday, June 27th, 2000: 9:57PM CST -------------------- Work and Money... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
OK, so I didn't update yesterday, but I was working and sleeping, I guess my nights of like 4 hours of sleep or less finally caught up with me. I slept almost 12 hours last night, and it felt good. Well, I just got off the phone with the guy who's car I hit the other week, and I now know how much money it costs to replace a door on a 1989 Ford Probe, and paint it to match the car. Let's just say it's more than I expected, of course I've never had to pay for one before, so who was I to even guess at a price. Now on to more urgent matters...I took this pic with Matt's digital camera while we were in Atlanta, it's the shadow that our Hotel cast on the surrounding buildings and streets, I just thought it kinda reminded me of something else...but what that is, I can't quite remember right now, you look and see if you can figure it out.

Sunday, June 25th, 2000: 10:09PM CST -------------------- Adventures in Hotlanta... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
I have returned. Atlanta was great, only one dead body, and we got that taken care of on the first day. Seriously though, we did see a man who had been hit by a car and killed right on one of the main streets downtown. It was pretty weird seeing the body lying in the street covered only by a sheet, maybe for some people who come from big cities it's...dare I say...common place, but for someone like me--it was quite a weird feeling with a mix of emotions. Anyway, Kentucky as a whole did pretty good, we got a total of four top-three finishes, and many more top-ten. Rville as a chapter received third place in the web page design competition, and was in the top ten in tech bowl, and in imaging technology (photography) so we did fairly well in the nation considering we had only 8 people. The hotel we stayed in was a 72-story cylinder--impressive looking, but not really once you got on the inside. The typical guest room--such as ours--had only one bed, yes that's right, one. We had five guys in our room, and it was pretty cramped. We got a roll-away bed, and there was this like little couch in the room, but we decided that that wasn't enough, so we talked the two girls who had a room to their selves to give us their roll-away bed, and since we didnt' know if you were really allowed to have two beds..when the hotel brought ours up, we hid the other one in the bathroom, but it didnt' quite fit, so we turned off the light in the room near the door, and opened the closet door--that hid half of it, then we hung a shirt on the bed too, lol...she didn't say anything...so either she didn't see it, or they could care less..probably both. There's a pic of our hotel on the right, ours was the tall shiny one that's on the right side of the pic.

Tuesday, June 20th, 2000: 10:39PM CST -------------------- Priceless... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
I had to post this, it's hilarious, I mean it. Just click on the pic to see it full size, you'll be sorry if you don't.

Tuesday, June 20th, 2000: 2:57PM CST -------------------- Solid Waste & Al... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
I swear I saw Albert Einstien today. He was near Southern Deposit Bank driving a green Ford Aerostar with a North Carolina license plate. I know it was him...he looked straight at me because he didn't really know how to drive around the square--as if I'm supposed to be able to help him, I mean I know we geniuses have to stick together and all...but simple driving?...come on Al, get it together. OK what else is new...ah, I leave tomorrow morning for Atlanta...I'm really looking forward to the trip. OK so the pic at right is the car that Jess likes...I hope she's happy now, after all the trouble I went to trying to find this car. Dang, I just remember I have to go to the dentist in like 20 minutes...hmmm...OH OH...I just remember something...I was at the bank, and on the counter there was this hat sitting there and it said on it: "Logan County Solid Waste Coordinator"...now for those of you who have no clue what this is, you may find it funny for obvious purposes, and for those of you who do live here, it's even funnier still.

Monday, June 19th, 2000: 8:57PM CST -------------------- Work & Hotlanta... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
It's finally here...my last night of midnight shift this week. I go in 2 hours for what will probably be the longest 8 hours of my life, although it couldn't be much longer than last night's 12 hours--it took forever! At like 2:00AM I was feeling pretty sick, so I went and rested for half an hour...and when I went back out into the mill to work...I was like..dang...shouldn't it be about 4:00AM now or something...it was such a long shift...and we just barely kept up with all the work we had to do. Wednesday morning we leave for Atlanta!, I'm looking very forward to the trip...I need a vacation...lol. There's a nice pic of Hotlanta to the right...maybe I'll be staying in one of those fancy buildings...who knows?...

Sunday, June 18th, 2000: 8:13AM CST -------------------- Work... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
I knew it would probably happen, I missed posting yesterday becuase I was sleeping between 12 hour shifts. Oh well, I'm doing it this morning before I go to bed. I go in again in 11 hours...woo fun...lol...actually my first 12 hour wasn't that bad...for various reasons which we won't discuss now. Hmmm...not much else is new..the Orioles lost last night, ending their 6 game winning streak--but Albert Bell hit a home run--his 6th in the past 4 games, quite impressive I think. Hmm...I bought some new speakers for my car...Infinity Kappa 693.1i 's they should be here late this week or early next...I can't wait to get them...lol...hmmm...ok...I'm gonna get ready for bed now.

Friday, June 16th, 2000: 5:58PM CST -------------------- Work... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
One more night of regular midnight shift, I go in tonight at 11:00PM, and get off at 7:00AM tomorrow, but then, I go into work at 7:00PM tomorrow, night and don't get off until 7:00AM Sunday...then in again at 7:00PM Sunday, and get off at 7:00AM Monday, then in again at 11:00PM Monday night,...and finally off at 7:00AM Tuesday--and it's over. Then I leave Wednesday morning for Atlanta with TSA. Sound confusing??>..try doing it. OK anway, I got the maroon paint off my car, you can't even tell that I had a wreck...I was talkin about it at work today and Joey said to use some rubbing compound, so I did, and it worked. I got into Russellville earlier than I thought I would this morning--about 7:20AM, I went to Hometown Decorating to drop something off for someone, but then I found myself with like 35 minutes to kill before I could pick up my paycheck...so thats when I went to wal-mart to get some rubbing compound...I spent like $1.50 for this tub of red-solid-paste stuff, and used about $0.02 worth of it..ridiculous. Well, then--finally--Holland opened, so I went and picked up my check, and then of course--since everyone wants to work against the common man, the bank didn't open until 9:00--or so I thought. I went over to DDI and talked to Jessica for a while, well, til about 9:10 or something like that, then I left to go to the bank, which I found out really opens at 8:30, not nine like I thought, oh well,...it still could be earlier..Jessica is supposed to come read this....hmm...she's also supposed to call me, I wonder what's keeping her...oh well, no problem, I've 5 hours to kill before going back to work, I can wait for her.

Thursday, June 15th, 2000: 7:42PM CST -------------------- Collision... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
Today was definitely interesting. I got off work, and then came home, and went to sleep. While I was asleep I won two auctions on ebay, so when I woke up, I went to the post office and mailed two money orders that totaled almost $200. It can be hard to part with money...but soon I'll be parting with more--which brings me to the biggest event of my day. I went into Bowling Green and went to Target to look at some stuff, when I was done, I went out to my car and got in...and as I was backing out, I hit some guy that was driving by...it sucked...it messed up my bumper and I now have some maroon paint on my trunk, but it ruined his whole driver side door...he thinks he can get a new one from a junk yard instead of trying to fix this one...that would definitly save me some money. Anyway, having a wreck is not fun, I would not reccomend it to you. *Note: The car pictured at right was not involved in todays accident.*

Wednesday, June 14th, 2000: 5:28PM CST -------------------- Hair... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
Well, I got home from work this morning about 7:40, and then I went to bed. It felt good to sleep, even though it wasn't very easy to do. I woke up at 2:45 and went to get a hair cut, I think I was half way asleep through the enitre thing, oh well, the hair still managed to get shorter...so it all turned out ok it would seem. So I started looking for a pic to put up with this post, and I was looking on this site where I've gotten several others, and I typed in "hair cut" and one of the images that came up is shown at right. I just figured since it came up...it must have something to do with getting a hair cut, so I put it up!

Tuesday, June 13th, 2000: 5:48PM CST -------------------- Dentistry Outcome... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
I went, and I was right...well, kinda...I got called back at 4:08, almost 10 minutes late...oh well, I found a pic after I got home when I actually had time to search for one, I like it...there were a lot of them that had people in them...I didn't like those..I like the object pics much more...they're more professional or something. Oh well. I'm pretty hungry too, I haven't eaten yet today, we have some company over, and I think we're going to go out in a little while, but I'm not for sure, I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens. Oh yeah..I had one small cavity, and have to go back next tuesday to get filled, oh well, I've had them before, one more won't hurt.

Tuesday, June 13th, 2000: 3:08PM CST -------------------- Dentistry Dillima... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
In less than an hour I will be leaving the security of my house to venture out into the real world and into....the Dentist Office. Ladies and Gentlemen, I can not stand the dentist's...first of all...the smell as soon as you walk in the door...I can't stand it, it about knocks me over with a wave of nausia. Second, the waiting--my appointment is at 4:00, I garuntee I won't get called back until at the earliest 4:10, why in the heck did they schedule me for 4:00?...I could have used those 10 minutes to do something productive...like shower before going. No, don't worry, I do plan on showering first, but I could take a longer one I suppose. I'm also having a bit of trouble finding a pic to represent the dentist...so, I'll put up the picture of THE ASS again, just for the heck of it.

Monday, June 12th, 2000: 9:03PM CST -------------------- Problems With Pizza... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
I have officially decided that Domino's needs a new employee pizza cutting seminar or something of that nature. I ordered a pizza for dinner tonight, and I go to pick it up, cause it's cheaper....thrifty me...yeah right...I spend money on all kinds of cool pointless stuff--such as pizza and GPS's...anyway...ok...so I get home and open the box and am takken aback by what I see. I had purchased a Dominos Pepperoni Thin & Crispy Pizza, which by custom is cut into approxamatly 16 squares...some of which have rounded corners...but we won't go into that here. OK so this pizza is cut into slices, ya know...like a normal pizza, but this my friends was not a normal pizza this was a Thin & Crispy Pizza, therefore it had been cut incorrectly. I just couldn't believe it, I thought about taking it back and demanding a replacement, but I had to be somewhere in 20 minutes, so I didnt' realy have the time..oh well...next time it better be right..and if not...I'm gonna have to take action.

Monday, June 12th, 2000: 2:23PM CST -------------------- ASS... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
So, it's 2:00 and I'm just waking up...but who cares, I'm off today...plus I was awake until almost 5:00AM last night...or, umm this morning...whatever. Since I've been asleep, not much has happened yet this afternoon, I just felt like posting. I have to go to the post office today sometime before 4:30 to get a money order...but I don't feel like going out, so if anyone wants to go for me, please let me know as soon as possible. The picture to the right is know simply as: THE ASS, it was taken on a school club trip at a resturaunt, and I think it looks quite nice, click on it for the full effect! Well, I just checked my mail, and I did get some...wooo hooo...ok, so there's this one thing, in like a gold plastic wrapper, and at the bottom it says: CONFIDENTIAL MISSION ENCLOSED, fancy huh? then above that, in big red letters it says: URGENT: OPEN IN AN OXYGEN ATMOSPHERE, and I'm like...oh really?...damn, cause I was really planning on taking this mail to the moon today to read it--which of course could not be true since I don't even want to drive a mile and a half to the post office--so anyway, people sure give you some dumb mail sometimes...oh yeah, and guess what the whole package is for to begin with--a book club: automatic HELL NO.

Sunday, June 11th, 2000: 11:15PM CST -------------------- The Car Of Someone Else's Future... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
Well, I put up the car I want, now I've been pressured into putting a picture of the car that Shenea wants; she signed my guestbook...again...so I guess I at least owe it to her. So here it is, a 2000 Audi TT Coupe. Just to keep her happy I suppose--it's not a bad looking car I suppose, but I still like my EVOQ much better!

Sunday, June 11th, 2000: 6:54PM CST -------------------- The Car Of My Future... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
OK, it's coming along quite nicely now, the links work now, which is a good thing. I'm still trying to find an image that I like to put in the top right corner, or if I find a couple that I like, I might make it a rollover--all the better! The car to the right is a concept car made by Cadillac, it's called the EVOQ, and I'm going to get one, I love it! Something about the crisp simplicity of it's corners, appeals to me much more than the sleek looking curves of many of today's cars...in a way, it looks almost stealth...pretty cool huh?...I can drive anywhere I want and avoid all enemy radar..lol...well, untill I get one, I guess you'll just have to keep looking at this pic, so enjoy!..oh did I mention it's a convertible!

Sunday, June 11th, 2000: 3:17PM CST -------------------- New Beginnings... Kenny >>> ICQ# 32530583
Well, it begins now. The new NOTD is here, and hopefully, I'll be updating it more frequently than I did my previous pages, hopefully. I am working now, at Logan Aluminum, and I'm on swing shift, so every once and a while I probably will miss posting due to my work schedule, but that's life I suppose. Well, I'm going to be continually working on this page to get it looking good, I'm in the middle of downloading several programs that should help me out in the days and weeks to come, but for now, this will have to suffice. The thumbnail to the right is that of a funny pic I found while surfing erarlier today, click on it, it's worth it, and is much better when you can see it actual size. If you liked my old page, you can still view it here, but I will no longer be updating it. Those of you trying to login to your Beverage Mail accounts can access the login screen from the link above. Please also be sure to sign the guestbook and tell me what you think of the new look!
